A very 70s look comes from a faded grunge approach in Nik Color Efex Pro 4.
Color Efex Pro 3 is still installed for two presets I use often; in this case, the Fresson print.
Finally, the Grainy Glow sample recipe sets its own mood.
Cranking up the dynamic range with single image tone mapping in Nik HDR Efex is worth exploring. In this case, the "Granny's Attic" preset was used as-is.
Based on the HDR version, this hand colored Van Dyke print comes from Nik Silver Efex Pro 2.
Finally, I converted the HDR image to a monochrome platinum tone in Nik Silver Efex Pro 2, then applied the blue/sepia split tone in Lightroom 3.
